PROJECTS AND THEIR SUPPORTERS
The projects of the Mirante Association are only possible thanks to the support of partners who believe in education as a path to transformation.
With each initiative, we build solutions together that directly impact schools, educators, and rural communities.

Based on feedback from the school community, the Mirante Association mobilized partners to implement structural improvements at the Orlando Paulino da Costa Municipal School, addressing problems that directly impacted the daily lives of students and teachers.
The renovation included repairing the roof, eliminating leaks and drips, treating moldy walls, improving classroom lighting, renovating the bathrooms, and completely painting the school, including a new visual identity.
The initiative brought together efforts from the private sector and the public sector, resulting in a total investment of over R$ 120,000, with a direct impact on the quality of the school environment.
Since the completion of the renovations, the school has offered a healthier and more welcoming environment, with reports of improved student attendance and a reduction in respiratory problems.

Rural Education, Transforming Lives
Alfenas, MG

Through a partnership with Furnas Centrais Elétricas, the Mirante Association made possible the implementation of a training program in Rural Education, conducted by a team from UNIFAL (Federal University of Alfenas), focusing on building pedagogical practices more connected to rural realities.
The project began at the Orlando Paulino da Costa Municipal School, where a pilot program was developed involving teachers and school administrators. Based on the results and the optimization of available resources, the training was expanded to other rural schools in the municipality of Alfenas, strengthening the network's approach.
The initiative was carried out in partnership with the Efort Institute, which acted as the executor of the agreement with Furnas, institutionally enabling the project at a time when Mirante was still in its initial structuring phase.
Throughout the process, educators were supported in building contextualized pedagogical practices, promoting a greater connection between teaching, territory, and students' reality, as well as strengthening the autonomy of schools.

The initiative included the donation of educational games for classroom use, contributing to enriching school activities, as well as the delivery of toys for each child to take home.
More than just a one-off action, the continuity of the initiative over the years reinforces the commitment to education and the local community, promoting moments of joy and strengthening the bond between children and the school.
