Liu Lage

Graduated in Cultural Production from FAAP in São Paulo. Worked with contemporary art for 15 years. Was an assistant to artists such as Rosângela Rennó and Tunga. Produced exhibitions in prestigious institutions such as CCBB in Rio de Janeiro, the Louvre Museum in Paris, and MoMA PS1 in NY. Worked in sales for galleries such as Luisa Strina (SP), Millan (SP), and Galleria Continua (Italy). During the pandemic, back on the farm where she grew up, she began to dedicate herself to socio-environmental projects, starting with the desire to impact education in rural areas. Therefore, she gathered this group to found the Mirante Association, which is based on the belief in education as an agent of social transformation. In addition, she has been developing a restructuring program for the farm where she lives in southern Minas Gerais, implementing regenerative practices through agroforestry and the restoration of native forests.
